Biography

After more than 40 years as a journalist focused on facts and words, and specialising in the NHS, health care systems and campaigning against neoliberal policies that undermine them, I have turned to photography and painting in acrylics and oils as a new way to view and portray the world.

I have been painting for only 5-6 years having been hopeless at art in school and engaging only in photography as a means of making images for most of my life.
